This (excellent) mantra also reminds me of an hilarious moment when I-could-walk-into-any-place-and-get-a-job-as-a-line-cook Keifer from "Teen Mom 2" passed these words of wisdom on to a worried Janelle: "The past is history, the future is a mystery...all we have is the present, which is why they call it a gift."
I like Cohen's way of putting it better, though.
Keifer likes to quote the tortoise from Kung Foo Panda?? I prefer Cohen as well.
